Consumer Law
Webb, Klase & Lemond has taken on numerous major corporations based on their anti-consumer practices. Such corporations include Wachovia Bank, Bank of America, SunTrust Bank, BB&T, U.S. Bank, Regions Bank, Capital One, Comcast, DirecTV, Sprint, Swift Transportation, National Arbitration Forum, and many others. Since 2007, the firm has focused on abuses by financial firms, including improper fees and practices by banks and credit card companies. Notably, the firm now serves on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee for the multidistrict litigation involving the imposition of overdraft fees by several major banks. The litigation is known as In Re: Checking Account Overdraft Litigation (MDL No. 2036) and is pending in the Southern District of Florida.
